Lets start with this one:) How to Make Stunning, Elegant, and Luxurious Coasters like these ➡️ Golden Coasters
Here is how to make them:
This set was done using Glimmer Gold and Northern Lights
- Choose Your Pigments: Pick one of the Special Effects Magic Pigments like Northern Lights , Lost Stars or Aurora and mix the pigment with clear resin.
- Pour the First Layer: Pour the resin mixture around the edge of the coaster mold to create a ring.
- Add one of the Glimmer Pigments: Next, mix one of the Glimmer pigments Gold , Violet , Green or Blue with clear resin. Pour this mixture around the edge of the mold, randomly crossing over the first layer of pigment. This layering adds depth and creates a unique blend of effects.
- Fill the Center: Pour clear resin into the center of the mold, filling it completely.
- Optional Embellishments: Feel free to add gold flakes, glitter, stones, or any other decorative elements to the center of the mold for extra flair.
- Use Heat Cautiously: Gently use a torch or a low-temperature heat gun to remove bubbles. Be careful not to overheat, as this can cause the resin to stick to the mold and potentially damage it.
- Let It Cure: Allow the resin to cure according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Top Coat: The next day, pour a clear coat of resin over the surface to add shine and durability.
- Paint the Edges: Once the coaster is fully cured, use a gold marker to carefully paint the edges of the coaster. This adds a luxurious, finished touch to your piece. Done :)
