Very shiny, coated with real silver, mirror reflective glass glitter(70 grit). Perfect for Christmas ornaments, and other decorations. Comes in 25 GRAMS volume It is not as sharp as my other Glass Sparkly Glitter , it is not sharp at all, which means it can be used in any functional art while the Glass Shards can be used only in arts that will not be touched.

This glitter can change color over time. The silver coating can oxidize when exposed to air, causing the glitter to darken yet still retain its sparkle. This process can result in a vintage or antique look, which is often appreciated by crafters and artists for its aesthetic appeal. The oxidation process and the resultant color change can lend a unique charm and authentic vintage feel to the glitter, making it a desirable choice for certain artistic and decorative applications. The color will not change when the glitter is sealed with resin, or any other sealer that will disconnect the silver coat from the oxygen.

How to use it :

This glitter is more shiny when it's not covered with resin. It loses its reflection the same way as a mirror covered with resin. It is best applied on stones and gems in geode art. I also tried to create resin stripes on my art, and covered it with glitter, when resin was pretty thick.

How to use: Drizzle gently resin onto your crystals, gems, broken glass, or any textured area you wish to get more sparkles and wait until resin thickens(in general its after 25-35 minutes, unless its fast curing resin), then apply randomly the glitter. The idea is to get the resin thick enough so the glitter cures in all possible positions giving incredible reflections when the light hits the shards.
